Canpar Transport, a major partner in the IDRC transportation program has extended an invitation to IDRC members to participate in a tour of their state of the art Toronto terminal and sortation hub.
This is an opportunity that both executives and shippers should not want to miss!
With over 100 thousand parcels being processed daily through their "soft touch" computerized handling system where no parcels contact each other during the entire sortation process Canpar has one of the most advanced facilities in Canada.
We anticipate that the tour will take place in May and we encourage members to attend. Look for updates in future newsletters.

Your IDRC staff and our new proactive President Danny Tulino of Hunter Douglas have recently visited Decorating students at both Humber and Georgian Colleges. We presented our IDRC scholarship award program and the benefits of being part of the Decorating Industry....It is becoming widely known that IDRC supports Student Interior Decorating Scholarship Programs at present in Ontario of which our members should be justly proud ! 2011 1st Place Scholarship Award Winner Saicha Peniston & 2nd Runner Up Sheri Klawitter, Humber College above.

DRC has recently participated at IDS'12 that produced a very good turnout and we Welcome our new members that joined our association during the show's Trade Day. In 2013 IDRC intend to increase our presence at the show. Book your presentation panel NOW as we would only have space for 8 ( 3'x 5') wall panels.

Ron Jolicoeur passed away September 15th at an all too early age after a short bout with cancer. Ron's tireless efforts to resurrect the wallpaper business and his dedication cannot be forgotten and the 35+ years he held reign as such a strong liked personality at the helm of Ontario Wallcoverings. Ron also served as President of our Association for several years and was a member for many.
